According to Mariah Sobh and Syeda Salwa Hasan, the inspiration for "The Hybrid" came from the desire to design a piece that had an impact, one that was more than just visual. The designers wanted to play with the idea of what the majority perceive as "impossible". The very essence of their design comes från finding a collaboration within the contradictions, inspired by the extreme contrast of the Arabian and swedish design philosophy.
