Jury’s statement
A striking flower in the meadow. A space for contemplation. Architecture for our senses. Architecture that uses the least possible means to create an intimate room that embraces the body. A room made of three walls and a raised floor, held together by a covering skin of tar, its viscous consistency and aroma influencing the feel and look. The soft, tarred structure of the jute mesh and the smooth brushed wood floor attract the hand and the eye.
In this intimate little room, distilled down to its absolute essence, you are fully present in the environment – large and small.
